CAMPBELL ANNOUNCES RE-ELECTION BID

NCOM Pledges Support

ENCINO, CALIF., April 24, 1997 - - U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-CO) has announced to the National Coalition of Motorcyclists (NCOM) that he intends to seek re-election in '98, and he will officially kick off his campaign at the NOOM Convention on May 10th. Campbell is the only United States Senator who rides a motorcycle to work He also rides to MRO meetings, motorcyclists' rights seminars and most of the major national rallies.

Senator Campbell is our strongest advocate in Washington, having authored legislation passed by Congress in 1995 to repeal the federal helmet "blackmail" provisions.

The good Senator from Colorado has been there for us every time we've called upon him. Now it's time we did something for a legislator who does so much for us. To help Senator Campbell raise much needed campaign capital, NCOM has reauthorized the sale of Campbell patches and pins. On behalf of NCOM, attorney Richard M. Lester has donated supporter pins and patches for motorcyclists to purchase, with all proceeds contributed directly into Campbell's political war chest.

Campbell, who is perhaps as well known as a jeweler as he is a politician, designed the full-color pin and patch logo himself using an American Indian motif. Patches are $10.00 apiece while a few of the limited edition pins, individually numbered 1-100, are still available for $100.00 each. The project has already raised over $20,000 for the Campbell Victory Fund, and is expected to raise several thousand dollars more for Campbell's re-election campaign coffers.

To order, checks or money orders (no cash please) should be made payable to: "The Campbell Victory Fund" and mailed to the National Coalition of Motorcyclists, 15910 Ventura Blvd., Suite 1719, Encino, CA. 91436. For further information, contact Bill Bish at 800/525-5355.
